Focus information overload and IM Giveaways

Filed Under (Internet) by John on 17-05-2008

IM Giveaways can be a great source of content and tools to help you in your business. One of the big problems though is information overload, download everything in sight, start to receive tones of follow up mail get bogged down in a huge roadblock of fresh material.

Nowadays I am very selective not just with giveaways but in all product offers, If it does not fit with my business strategy it gets passed by. I now have Focus, that saves me a huge amount of time and in some cases a lot of money. It is so easy to be seduced by great sales copy you can end up spending thousands on products that sit gathering cyber dust because they don’t fit into your plans.

One of the tools that helped is a great report called Laser-Focus Shield. It is well worth checking out.

Speaking of giveaways My friend Reed Floren just released the internet’s most massive giveaway ever:

Simply sign up and get the scoop. -tons of ebooks -tons of scripts -tons of everything you’ve ever wanted

Where did all these goodies come from? I teamed up with Reed FLoren who has called in some favours from a whole bunch of top online marketers and convinced them all to give you TONS of Products at no cost to you. It is our way of saying “thank you”!

These products are worth thousands and thousands of dollars and have already made the owners thousands and thousands of dollars. Go get it now! BUT don’t forget to focus be selective and only download what fits your business plan.

It’s Live, It’s Free and its Paying Now

Filed Under (Internet) by John on 07-02-2008

Having been burned with new start-ups in the past I waited until this one proved itself before talking about it.

A few days ago the long awaited Pay per Click program started rollout. Although lots of people have been frustrated by the slow start I appreciate this company really wanting to get the system right before going to full throttle. All early indications show this will be a great passive income source for anyone with a website of their own.

Much better than Google adwords as there is no clicking of links involved. Visitors hear a short audio message on the first visit to your page in any 24 hour period YOU get paid.

DON’T expect to make a fortune that is NOT what this program is about. YOU will make passive income with only a few minuets effort to load the code just once on your pages.

Interested? Want to know more? Go here for the full story http://www.johnaustwick.com/l/ppp/index.html

Work smart for better returns.

The Brit Pack Reports are Here.

Filed Under (Internet) by John on 06-01-2008

Hears wishing each and every one a great 2008. Now the holiday is over it’s time I posted the

long awaited reports from BritPack. Hear goes

A few weeks ago I attended the BritPack live event in Coventry WOW what a blast. I will do several different posts about this event, Why you may ask well I will tell you there was so much I learned and so many great people I met I could fill a book with the information. I arrived about lunch time on the first day, once unpacked I headed to the bar although it was very quiet there was a small group of people sat just chatting. I sat listening for a while thinking to myself how great it is to hear others talking on the subject of Internet Marketing. After all it is generally a solitary occupation sat working your computer in your home office.

After a few minuets I asked if I could join them. And yes I was warmly welcomed to sit and join in with the conversation. I very soon realised I had missed a very important step in my own advancement years ago. Like most new Internet marketers when I came on line in 1999 I jumped from one program to another believing the hype of this one is the golden goose, by 2002 I had learned enough to be able to go full time on the net no more going for the next big thing but steadily working on affiliate marketing (I dumped my J.O.B. ) But although I was making a comfortable living I still worked a lot of hours with only a decent wage to show for it.

The step I missed was taking the time to really look and analyse both other peoples methods and more importantly my own passions, Yes I was doing another job I enjoyed I had all the basics, the list and the affiliate sales. Life was good but it could be better. I had settled into my comfort zone! John Delavera and meJohn Delevra was one of the small group I was now talking with. John started his internet career in 2002, although I had promoted some of John’s early products at the time I missed what he was saying. Within minuets I knew we would be friends for life, John is such a caring giving person, he has a unique way of talking that not only gives you an explanation but also makes you look deep inside yourself for the true answer to a question. On reflection reading Johns material the very same comes out in every piece of written work of his I have ever read.

If you want an example look at this http://www.johnaustwick.com/seeds/seed.html Do take the time to read it properly. One of my own failings was speed reading to get the gist of the article then moving on to the next one without really digesting the first.Time spent with John at BritPack taught me to think and analyse great information.  Another mistake in retrospect was not getting John’s amazing value turbo membership before, that has now been rectified. If you want to look for yourself what true value is click this link http://www.johnaustwick.com/l/Turbo/     to be continued

Football Fair and Pantomine

Filed Under (general) by John on 15-12-2007

Wednesday night saw the AGM of LourdsFC the local junior football club young john plays for, this club is now 2 years old and growing fast, 16 teams of youngsters in all age groups up to 16 years old.

This club is going for charter standard registration this year, a lot of work still to be done in the next six months but with a great team of volunteers I am sure it will achieve the goals set. Over the holiday period I will be working on a web site for the club to provide a central easy access news and fixtures area. My sponsorship of the under 14s team will see them with a full strip for playing competitive games for the new year.

Presentation evening at Bolton Wanderers Football Club was a great night for the children who like young john had been attending out of school extra education over the last 10 weeks, this scheme run in conjunction with the local council is very popular. About 200 children from all over

Bolton received prizes and certificates for all their hard work in a party type atmosphere. John had his football signed by one of the players giving out prizes, we also have tickets for the next home match on the 22nd more on that after the match.

The school trip to the pantomime went well with 64 children enjoying Dick Whittington at the Lowery centre Salford, a great day out with a packed lunch, no incidents to mar the day and returned back to school by three pm.

Young John had bought a stress ball in the theatre shop, on the way home in the car he decided to see what it tasted of just as we hit a bump in the road, well I nearly had an accident laughing, his teeth had punctured the skin resulting in a gush of green slime covering him instantly, just a shame I hadn’t got a camera running the look of shock as green slime driped from his chin was a site to behold, after he finished laughing he told me it tasted of lemonade. Thank goodness the stuff was none toxic.

The school Christmas fair was a great success we work it so the children have at least half an hour to work the stalls before we let the adults in, this gives the children a chance to pick up Christmas presents if they want as a surprise for mum and dad. By the end virtually everything was gone once again razing a good sum for the school.

After that lot I could do with a rest J not much chance as we move into the last week of school before the holidays, oh well back to the grind till next time John

How time slips by!

Filed Under (Internet) by John on 14-12-2007

Wow my last posting was over a week ago, how time slips by when you have your head down working on new projects.

Before I tell you what I have been up to take a quick look at this only available for the next couple of days.

http://www.johnaustwick.com/l/std/index.html

There are MANY products in the Santa Deal Time promotion

that I like, several of which I know I’m going to use to

greatly increase my income in 2008…

…how about you??

The one product title which intrigued me the most was

7 Ways to Ma/ke $700 in 7 Days.

But if you get the ebook then you will see that the plan there…

…it’s for REAL.

This book alone is worth the entire price of Santa Deal

Time 2007, but look what else you get…

- An entire turn/key resale rights package with a HIGH

quality, in demand product that has a HUGE market… (Can

you say ca-ching$?? :-)

- Your own copy of JVManager 1, the software marketers have

used to grow their little online ventures into six figure

incomes (with videos…)

http://www.johnaustwick.com/l/std/index.html

Now for my update:

It all started in May 2007 when I realised I had toped out at 250 lbs in weight.

Already having health issues, having to use a cane when walking and really dreading the stairs. I decided it was time to take control and shed the fat.

25 weeks and 50 lbs lighter I started to write about my experience, it then dawned on me to take it much further so I have been putting an information site together. With a video section of others experience you can visit hear  http://www.officiallifestyle.info/weightloss/index.php   it still needs lots of work which I will be doing over the next few weeks.

I am still working on the book due out early in 2008 if you would like to know more about it or be advised when ready post a comment.

I will do another post to update on other events over the last few days

John .

Weekend Update.

Filed Under (general) by John on 03-12-2007

Fundraising and good causes are the subject of this weekends post.

Friday morning saw young John and myself arrive at school early for our monthly fundraiser the Tea and toast event. Always popular with kiddies and parents which does add to the school funds.

The rest of Friday morning I spent ticketing and packing bottles for the forthcoming Christmas fair. Another good fundraiser for the school.

Arriving home the first job was to check email, the first one I opened immediately got the blood boiling, You can read the story hear http://grinchfund.chipin.com/grinch-fund-christmas-for-kids some people do deserve to be strung up if they get caught.

Saturday was somewhat busy as we attended two fairs, the first at the local collage and community center. This is the main fundraiser for the year. Very vibrant with a wide range of stalls, tom bolas, raffles, Santa’s grotto, you could even chill out with a head massage.

From there we travelled to Yorkshire for the church fair my mum and sister support, this one was much smaller with a few stalls selling goods and several games to compete for the top score. Cream tea’s followed by carol singing to round off the day.

The marketer in me took notice of the vast differences in the set up of each fair, they each catered for there target market. Each of these fairs are successful year after year, new things are tried as a test and if successful kept for the next one if not you don’t see that part of the fair again. It is exactly the same with internet marketing target and test for the best results. Once you have a proven base formula DON’T try to re invent the wheel, DO try little additions to improve on the base.

We finished the day off with a couple of hours with mum, then home to unpack the goodies picked up from the fairs.

Sunday mornings email check, one from Dr Many caught my eye, a real inspiration if ever there is one Laura Stockman will go far check it out hear http://www.twentyfivedays.wordpress.com/

To finish off the weekend I took the kids out to lunch and off to the cinema watching Fred Claws, great entertainment but if you go to see it watch for the marketing lessons embedded in the storyline it is also an education.

Until next time John

The dreaded lurgy!

Filed Under (general) by John on 28-11-2007

It got me the dreaded chest infection bug has had me laid up for the last five days.

It has been quite an effort just to get on and sort email still something good has come out of it.

Good old fashioned pen and paper comes into play, between sleeping and coughing I have been using a technique for writing I haven’t used in a long time. The results are amazing. Without really thinking about it just start to write one sentence at a time then see what comes out in the end.

The secret to this method is NO distractions, just a quiet time to let the power of the mind do it’s thing. From my own quiet time I have now the catalyst of three new products.

Ok there is still some research and refining to do but I have one book well on the way to completion and two more with a good start.

I will keep you updated on the progress.

A Little Behind!

Filed Under (general) by John on 22-11-2007

Ok I am a little behind with the promised BritPack reports. I have NOT put them back in the roundtooit you will be pleased to know, I got a little swamped with other work after all taking 5 days out to attend the world internet summit is bound to impact on time management a little.

I hope you will forgive the lateness; a good friend of mine has a super new program due for launch on the 4th December. I have just installed the software and will be taking some time to give it a good test. Once my test is complete I will also review it hear on the Blog.

Although I am a Brit I too join in with thanksgiving, even in the face of adversity when you truly look at life there is so much to be thankful for. My personal belief is when life gives you a kicking you need to kick back, overcome the problem then grow from the experience.

Not always an easy task, people in general tend to let the negative side of life dominate, thanksgiving is a time to bring the positive side of life to the for and really take stock.

My words may seem a little strong but having had possibly more than my share of adversity, being in the position I am in today and being truly thankful I think I am qualified to make this statement.

As you don’t know my personal story it may be a little hard to believe, if there are enough request in the comments I will make the story available to all.

It’s not a holiday hear in the UK but I have prepared a nice meal for this evening, the kids know we are having a family night. The rest of today belongs to the family.

Until next time happy thanksgiving John

World Internet Summit Day 4 Part 2

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by John on 20-11-2007

Adam Ginsberg hit the stage with a wealth of information to use myspace to great advantage as a marketing tool. DO NOT DO DIRECT MARKETING using myspace. This is a great medium and so versatile to be able to use suggestion marketing. Adam’s proprietary system is a real winner having the ability to enhance the myspace page and add friends targeted to your nich is superb.

Adam Ginsberg and me at world internet summit 2007

At this point I must give an apology Tom Hua was back on stage giving a detailed run through of www.worldinternetoffice.com when I had to nip out for a call of nature, well I bumped into Shaun and ended up having a deep conversation. Consequently missing Toms talk. For that I am sorry you can follow the link above to gain an overview. For my own solid backend office I personally use Fantasos so solid an earthquake cant shift it.

Now we come to the closing hour and a half. If you like the look of these last four posts and wish you had been there with me then you are in for a treat. The attendees at this event earned the rights to the full dvd set of everything that happened over the last four days. Want to know more? Click hear It did take a little while for the licences to be handed out.

World Internet Summit day 4 Part 1

Filed Under (Internet) by John on 18-11-2007

At 08.00 sharp Shaun Clarke gave his update on http://www.grapevineguru.com his internet challenge site

He has certainly shown us how to start a sustainable business. This site first saw the light of day only four days ago, it’s actually been live about three and a half days with initial traffic driven by ppc in the space of just over three days the stats are more than encouraging with a click through rate of 28% and a sale rate of 5% from traffic driven. This site is predicted to be doing $3000 a month in a years time. I will get an update from Shaun for you in a few months.

Shaune, Terry and me at world internet summit 2007

At first sight Alan Forrest Smith could be taken for a younger version of Billy Connelly, but when you talk to him you very soon realise he is a very gentle gentleman in every sense. His quiet and unique style talking about second level copywriting was both entertaining and very informative.Alan has made a study of ad copy finally tuning his skill to an extent where he can take 12 words out of a sales page replacing them with just six and increasing the sale by 100s %.   Alan Forest Smith and me at world internet summit 2007 Tom Hua has a real story to tell, from not many years ago landing in Australia penyless in fact having to sleep rough while both going to school and working a low paid job to being one of the most respected and prolific marketers on line.

Tom’s full explanation of how to work a business in a box filled with such detail No ONE person that really listened should fail to be in profit.
